UNFOCUSED FREEDOM (ALBUM)
At 15, I discovered a remarkable collection of over ten thousand poems and plays written by a New York-based psychologist and poet from half a century ago. As I delved into these works, I felt an overwhelming urge to bring them to life through music. To my amazement, I later learned that this poet was my grandfather, Irwin Robert Shaw. Although he passed away before I was born, his words sparked a profound connection within me, especially his exploration of the human inner voice, a theme that seems increasingly rare in today's world, where deep meaning and lyrical expression often seem elusive.
